We want to inform you that we have received confirmation that a patient at CV North has been diagnosed with COVID-19. The safety of our patients and healthcare personnel is our foremost priority. We are doing everything we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within CV North, including staying in very close communication with local and state health officials and to ensure we are taking appropriate steps.

The patient was identified by facility healthcare personnel with symptoms associated with COVID19. Consistent with the health department and CDC guidelines, the patient was isolated in a private room, droplet precautions were implemented and the local health department was immediately contacted for further instruction. Roommates who were potentially exposed as well as the healthcare workers caring for the patient are being closely monitored.

Our clinical team continues to care for this patient who will remain quarantined, for the protection of other patients and staff. Enhanced monitoring of all patients is strictly enforced, including evaluation of temperature daily, to quickly identify and mitigate the spread of pathogens. At this time, no further person(s) including staff members have symptoms, or been confirmed with COVID 19. We will update you as the situation progresses.
